Hannah Desmond(F)  Early 30s   Now Korea From United Kingdom

Preferred Job Type:Adult Conversation/Grammar/BusinessEnglish,Online/Phone Teaching,Other Teaching Jobs

About Me: I am a well-qualified ESL instructor from the UK with a real passion and enthusiasm for teaching English. I feel excited about the potential at this point in my career and I have the ambition of gaining some further experience in the ESL field. I currently work for an after-school English program in a public elementary school in Eastern Seoul and although I am on an E2 visa, my employers have expressed that their employees may gain additional employment with their permission. I would be very interested to hear about any opportunities that you may have. I am looking for a few additional teaching hours a week to fit around my current schedule and I am happy to teach either 1:1 or group classes in a range of settings. My qualification is the highly regarded Trinity Cert TESOL which I gained on a very intensive face-to-face course at an excellent school in London. This qualification is the direct equivalent of CELTA (although less well known in Asia, is comparably rigorous and has a remarkably similar course content) and had a high level of assessed feedback on taught classes and written work and combined theory with practical teaching. My work experience prior to teaching is varied. I have coached adults and young people in lifestyle and health issues, and I have worked in a welfare capacity in a University and in the UK’s National Health Service. I have worked for both private and public companies and I feel that this varied experience has brought a background of professional knowledge to my work in teaching and has enabled me to be an effective and well-rounded employee. I feel confident that I would be able to teach in a business capacity. In the future, I hope to either study for a master’s degree in Applied Linguistics or TESOL or get my teaching license, and now I am hoping that I can take the next step in my career where I can truly apply my creativity and love for teaching English. Key Skills ● Very high level of written and spoken English. ● Skilled at teaching English to elementary and middle school aged children, as well as adults. ● Excellent communication skills both verbal and written. ● Excellent problem solving and troubleshooting skills. ● Skilled at communicating difficult information. ● Building and maintaining relationships with a diverse range of people. ● Training, teaching and presentation skills.

Aya(F)  Under 20   Now Israel From Israel

Preferred Job Type:Children's Institutes/ Kindergartens,Middle/High School Institutes,Elementary & Secondary Public Schools,Universities & Private Schools,Other Teaching Jobs

About Me: I will send my resume through email when needed. Leaving my obejective below. Although I am not a native English speaker my accent is similar to a native English speaker. I have been passionate about languages from an early age, and found myself absorbing information quite rapidly, which resulted in acquiring both English and Spanish quite easily. In addition, most of my writing and speaking abilities are self-taught. I have gained some experience through private lessons and volunteering at a kindergarten teacher which has made me more patient, and taught me not only how to deal with kids but how to teach them in a nonconventional way relaying on both images and sounds, making the classroom less stressful for them in order to allow them to absorb the new material in the most efficient way. Around three years back I started gaining interest in korea, but it wasn't until recently that I realized I wanted to teach there. I come from a small town which doesn't believe that english is an important vessel for the future as I do. After hearing about the importance of English study in korea, and about the many ESL teachers I knew I belonged there, and that I wanted to teach in a country that is as passionate about English studies as I am. Korea is the ideal place for me to find the opportunities I desperately sought but couldn't have in my home country, in a completely different environment that shares the same values and importance to what I love and want to do.
